I need to talk about VidCon

just thinking about it makes me want to cry. i had so much fun, i can't even explain. i feel so good right now, and i'm excited for next year's!
okay. i'm not going to tell this in order, i'm just going to talk about what made me the happiest.

for starters, i followed (still do WOO!) a guy named Cade (cadegoestocollege) and about 2 weeks ago he said he wasn't going to tweet for 2 weeks. it made me sad because i have his tweets sent to my phone and i enjoy reading them. however, when i went to the hotel (which was really nice ;D) i was waiting for the elevator, and when it opened he came out!! i nearly had a panic attack. when i went in the elevator he had came out of, i cried a tiny bit.
he's seriously SO COOL.

and the same thing happened with Alex Day. he popped out of the elevator for a sec, looked around, waved at me when he noticed i was gaping and staring, then ran back in and left.
it blew my friggin' MINDDDD

i sang and danced SO much during VidCon.

i got an autograph from Michael Gregory (from the Gregory Brothers) and he asked me if i was having fun and all i could do was whisper a "yes" cause i knew if i said anything else it would end with me going, "yes i'm having so much fu- YOU ARE SO ATTRACTIVE AUGHHHH" and then running away like a creep.

also, i accidentally got Matt Brown's autograph (swiftkaratechop). i saw him, said hi, tried to go around him (but he somehow thought i was trying to give him a hug) and then i asked for an autograph, but his friend called him over so i started to leave then he ran after me and signed my card. he was really nice, too!

when i met Karmin, i told Amy she was REALLY pretty (she is so modest!!) and got 2 autographs (one for a friend) and they personalized them (cause they're awesome lol) and i hugged Amy. when i turned to leave, Nick said to me, "Hey! You're going to just hug and dash? I want a hug too!"
and he gives good hugs. not as good as Alex Day, though xD

i wish i had hugged Charlie. NEXT YEARRRR!!

and i saw Des and Nate wandering around. i was in too much shock to go say hi, though. ha!

i met so many cool people! and i made friends, even though i was by myself. i caught a youtube headband and sweatband (both of which i'm wearing now) and a ton of stuff from fellow youtubers. and i got a free District Lines bracelet for wearing my Aperture Laboratories shirt (which Charlie McDonnell said he liked. i told him i liked his shirt as well, which was a Captain Hammer one)

i bought SO much stuff as well (Gregory Brothers' cd (got an autograph from Michael Gregory too. HE'S SO CUTE!!!!), Keep Calm and DFTBA poster, Still Got Legs (autograph from Eddplant as well!) cd, DFTBA bracelet, and Sopio cards)

i went to the Chameleon Circuit meet-up and told them 2 things: 1. that i wasn't a creep so i had NO idea how big Alex and Charlie's heads were for their hats that i made and 2. that i loved Chameleon Circuit. then i asked what their fave video that they put up on YT is.
and it may have just been my imagination, but Charlie looked over at me when i was in line to ask my question and i smiled (so i hope he was otherwise i would've looked really creepy lol)

and i helped to hold up SO many people while stage diving (George Watsky, who gave me the NICEST autograph EVER, apart from Karmin!!; Hank Green, Ed Blann, Kristina Horner, Luke Conard, Dave Days)

and i got a pic with Brittani Louise Taylor (even though i don't follow her on YT lololol)
she was REALLY REALLY nice!!!

and fffff, Chameleon Circuit is so friggin' talented!

and i watched Charlie McDonnell and Hank Green play Portal 2 lol

okay. so at 1.50am on July 31st, 2011, i met Alex Day. we were all dancing together (Tom Milsom, Ed Blann, Alex Day, Kristina Horner, Hank Green, loads of other people), and i went up to him, told him he was brilliant (he clasped his hands together by his heart and aww'd), then i asked for a hug. HE HUGS SO WELL. FUIESAFNAKJ. his right arm went over my left shoulder, and his left arm went under my right arm. however, his metal bracelet that he got from someone got stuck on my shirt, and then we had to spend about a minute trying to untangle him xD
it snagged my shirt, but i don't even care. he was so apologetic about the whole thing, which was really funny xD i told him i was totally okay with it! and then i ran away and sat outside of my hotel room trying to stop my ears from ringing.

also there was a dance and a bunch of people made a big circle and i danced in the middle with a kid dressed up like Captain America xD
and i danced on the stage after Chameleon Circuit played!

and earlier, when Dave Days played, he threw his Miley Cyrus cardboard cut-out in the crowd and i totally caught it but someone ripped it out of my hands xD
but a really nice girl managed to grab the backing and ripped it up and passed out the pieces so i got one of those :DD

and i told Kristina Horner that she sings really well (even though i don't follow her or Luke Conard and don't listen to ALL CAPS lulz)

i saw Alex Day in the StarBucks line so often xDD

so i was in the elevator to go back to my room earlier this morning, and i saw these 3 dudes, and one goes, "hey! i like your arm band. oh! and your shoes! why are you dressed so awesomely?!" and the others agreed, and i grinned and thanked them a lot. it was so sweet!

okay. Charlie McDonnell. i walked up to him (well had to stay in line for a LONG TIMEEEE) and (that's when we complimented each other on our shirts), seeing as though he's really cute and sweet, i said the lamest thing ever. (can't talk to attractive guys, remember?)
i said, "hey. you know how america loves you, right? well, on behalf of america: here. i made you a hat" and he liked it! then i told him how i made a Mario one for Alex (Charlie's was Luigi) and he said i could either wait and hold out to give it to Alex myself, or he could just pass it along. i thanked him, and gave him the Mario one as well xD
then, as he was putting the hats in his backpack, i told him that i was so nervous that my hands were shaking, and he told me to not worry about it lol
then i asked for a pic, and we took one together. and i said thanks again, and he said that it was nice to meet me, and i, of course, said "thanks, you too! bye!"
and then i walked away.
i don't know how the heck i was so calm then.

and i keep crying now that i'm home.
cause i have a list of goals that i wanted to accomplish from 2010-2011
and meeting Charlie and going to VidCon was on there
and i'm still in shock that it even happened
that i burst into tears when i crossed them off
and when i had to change my calendar
although i did it a bit early

it's so weird thinking that this morning, i was dancing with Alex Day and getting a hug from him
it's crazy
this morning, i was still in Los Angeles
and next year, i will be back
and that's a promise

Things that Make Me Rage

i'm just gonna list these out. it's prolly gonna be a long list. these are also in no specific order. and there will be some elaboration on a few.
also, before you think i'm a complete whiny twat, i will make a list of all the things that make me happy sometime soon (hopefully). and trust me, it will be loads longer than this thing.
HERE WE GOOOOO

1. when my mom makes me do something, then lets me leave the room before calling me back to do something else. (seriously. why the effff would you let me leave? also, why am i so lazy?)

2. when people make plans with me and cancel at the last possible moment because of some dumb reason

3. when people persistently touch my feet in practice. (PASS. ME.)

4. when people stare at me non-stop. (is there something on my face? do you think i'm pretty? please give me some sort of facial expression to let me know why you're staring.)

5. when strangers yell creepy things at me while i'm running (ex: "HEY BABY GIRL, YOU LOOKIN' GOOD." seriously. it makes me want to castrate you with a lint roller. (that was the first thing i saw in my room))

6. when people can't accept the fact that i have male friends. (just because i talk to him a lot, doesn't mean i like him! in fact, if i can even talk to him in the first place, i probably don't like him. i don't possess the ability to talk to cute boys. at all.)

7. when creepy people i know don't get the hint, even if i tell them to leave me alone. (if i glare at you on a daily basis, and go out of my way to not talk to you, THEN I CAN'T STAND YOU. STOP TRYING TO HELP ME WITH STUPID STUFF. I'M NOT A WEAKLING. AIUESKGJNASDGK I CAN SPIN THAT LANE LINE THING WITHOUT YOU. in fact, you just get in my way!!!! also, super-thanks to the cute boy who moved in front of the creeper to help me. YOUR help is much appreciated :) also also, thanks for moving out of the way when you realized that i was fine on my own. P.S. you're cute. sorry for never talking to you, though. see #6 and #12)

8. when people talk incessantly about everything they see out of the window. (seriously. wtf. are you a dog? knock that off)

9. when my mom forgets to go get groceries for the week

10. when people automatically assume they understand me. (i'm like an onion, brolololo. just because that's what YOU do, doesn't mean it's what I do.)

11. when people who used to be my friends, and aren't so close anymore try to joke with me. (that one wasn't even a joke. it was just rude. so FUUUUUU)

12. my inability to talk to people i don't know. (it's ridiculous. i get SO SHY AUGHH)

13. when people i don't like/don't know touch me. (i'm kinda OCD about that sort of stuff. if i don't know you very well, and i don't smile at you or say anything to you ever, then pleaaase don't make any sort of physical contact unless you honestly have to. it kind of freaks me out. :/)

14. when people ask DUMB QUESTIONS. (i don't even need an explanation for that. you've all been there.)

15. when annoying people keep giving me their opinion. (i posted a thing about dr. pepper on a FRIEND'S wall, NOT YOURS. I HONESTLY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANY OTHER SODA OTHER THAN DR. PEPPER. DON'T COMMENT ON IT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT. SERIOUSLY. grow up. nobody gives a deuce about your stupid, cynical, ridiculously snobby opinions.)

16. when people have a ridiculous amount of problems and want to forever be talking about them.

17. when people go from being nice to mean to me each week. (seriously. if you don't like me, TELL ME. i'm honestly just going to ignore you if you can't behave like a normal human being and talk about it.)

18. when people don't understand how to use the internet. (come on, now. that person is trolling you. quit getting worked up over nothing.)

19. crazy people.

20. assholes.

21. when older people buy new technology, and then don't even try to figure out how to use it, but complain about how confusing it is to use. (THEN DON'T BUY THE DAMN THING.)

22. when people judge me for having hobbies like playing DDR or reading manga. (no, i'm NOT a weeaboo OR a furry. that stuff is too friggin' weird. however, i do like Japan because it's one of the few completely original cultures. Japan is somewhat influenced by the Western world, but not by a lot. i think that's nifty.)

23. when people treat me like i'm stupid. (come on, now. i'm in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. and i spelled that WITHOUT Google. i've kept above a 4.0 throughout my junior year (not hard to do lol). clearly i have something up top between my ears)

24. when people are REALLY ANNOYINGLY loud when i'm trying to sleep.

25. when teachers blame everyone for one student's dumb actions.

26. when a teacher yells at me because THEY'VE had a bad day.

27. egregious spelling errors. (FRESHMEN. LEARN HOW TO SPELL. this is why we hate you all)

28. how the words "excuse me" now mean "please continue standing in that exact same spot. it's totally not like i need to move past you or anything. yeah. completely fine. thanks."

29. hearing my mom talk about christianity. ((sp? oh, idc) i love God and her and all, but IUKASDFNJAWSEI EVERY DAY IS CHURCH WHEN I'M WITH HER)

30. when people feel the need to go out of their way to be absolutely TERRIBLE people.

31. lectures about things i already understand
