Good Deeds

i'm such a jerk. as soon as i do one good deed, i have to tell someone about it. i think it's because i'm so used to being such a nonchalant, somewhat apathetic person that when i get around to helping someone else out i feel like such a good person.
for example, today, my stuff came in from Hot Topic. (WOOOOOOO!!)
(the vans and dr who shirt i mentioned in my previous post)
however, they sent 2 shirts instead of one. now, instead of just accepting it, i immediately went to my computer and looked up the customer service number (well, after quickly telling my mom about it first. then i went.) and called them. the lady seemed uber-shocked, and sent me a little ticket thing from fedex so i wouldn't have to pay to ship it back to them.
however, as soon as it was all over, i immediately told my mom and dad, and tried telling other friends but they were busy.
i'm such an asshole.
and my mom just asked to borrow my laptop and i told her that whatever she needs done i'll just do it because i'm "kind of busy"
like hell i am.
i'm blogging.
BLOGGING.
why is that more important to me than whatever my mom needs done? (checking to see if a dvd works. idk what's up with her laptop)
why am i so freaking lazy? or am i just apathetic?
i kind of hate this.
